When we first started roasting coffee beans for friends and family, we had very little hope about Vanilla Nut coffees. (I'm a hard-core black coffee drinker.) We were wrong. One night, we took some samples of our coffee to a Gold's Gym open house and the Vanilla Nut samples flew off the table! Disappeared! Carried away in the meaty mitts of buff weightlifters. My wife sells our Vanilla Nut to a very successful hair salon in Thousand Oaks, and they can't keep it in stock. The hair technicians drink it all up before the customers can get to it. The owner finally had to lock up our Vanilla Nut so she can save it for her paying clients. We think it's the beans we use. Most roasters use cheap beans because they believe the flavoring will overcome the coffee. It's not true. A good, well-roasted bean makes all the difference for a flavored coffee. So that's what we deliver.
